Halloween 2009

The kids had a blast this year. We tried something a little different and went to another neighborhood where Drew's best friend lives. Since one of the houses was handing out apple pie martinis to the parents, maybe we'll try that again. :)

The policeman and fireman kept things in order while the little lady bug figured out quickly what was going on and took off to gather as much as she good.

Va State Fair 2009

The new location was great and the kids had a lot of fun. Bebe and Pops brought Caroline up to join us. We saw the animals, rode LOTS of rides and didn't forget the turkey leg!

We are on vacation in Florida visiting Robbye's mom. The big event so far has been the zoo. Here are some shots from our day there. I think Drew said it best, "That was super duper fun."

Signs of Summer

Summer's here and we're enjoying the outdoors with our new pup, Koufax. Here are a few pictures from around the house. First up, Mary-Rian's first pigtails. Her teacher, Ms. Sara, gets the credit...I have not yet attempted to master it. MR is VERY cute with them.

We turned on the sprinkler bug last weekend and even Koufax got in on the fun. He's been a really great pup so far...easy with the kids and eager to please.

I can't remember if this was a tired pup or a crazy pup...either way, pretty cute.

Drew's Firehouse Birthday Party

Drew had his birthday party at the Chickahominey Vol Fire Dept #10 and what a great time! Everyone learned a little fire safety, climbed around on all the trucks and ran around getting sprayed with the hose. Thanks to all Drew's friends who came out and joined him!

She finally did it....

Mary-Rian finally took her first solo steps today! I'll try to get a video of it soon. I'm just glad it finally happened! For those of you keeping tabs (or maybe it's just me), that's 16 months and 3 days she's been holding out. whew!

Bye Bye, Ga-Ga...We Love You

We always say that when we leave. Yesterday, we said it for the last time as our sweet friend quietly passed away after fighting some of the issues that Bulldogs have to fight. We only had him for 5 short years, but the good times and the fun we all had are helping to get us all through. Thanks to those of you who have been supportive.
